Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Minsk Belarus, which is the capital. Belarus. Sergey the father of her (who died in 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk on May 5, 1998. Her career has seen her achieve twelve WTA singles championships, which includes an Grand Slam in the Australian Open of 2023. Doubles is her forte and she has also won Majors in the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both with Elise Mertens. She also achieved the Sunshine Double in 2019, winning in the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open along with Elise and Mertens. The women's doubles had only four couples achieve this feat. On 23 August 2021 she climbed to the second spot in the singles world ranking her top ranking again in the month of January in 2023. But in doubles, she climbed to number one after her victory in Melbourne that identical year. She was coached by former Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the end of the season in 2019 and partially at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach for her from the month of August to September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach as of at the beginning of 2020. Serena Williams is her role model, being followed by Maria Sharapova.
