ndrea Le is a rising LPGA Tour superstar, highlighted with her win at 2022 Portland Classic. Lee has had success at every level, most notably at Standford University earning 9 wins throughout her college career. She also having 17 weeks of being the top Women's Amateur player in the World. As the Women's Amateur with the top ranking at close of the season in 2019, Lee won the Mark H. McCormack Memorial Medal. She turned pro later the same year. Andrea Lee was a Los Angeles born girl in August 15th, 1998. James, her father James taught her to play golf when she was 5 years old. She began competing at age 8 in competitions and was able to win 50 junior championships within the span of four years. In 2014, the US Women's Open was her first major cut. Her father accompanied her to the tournament at her age of 15 and worked as a caddie. The 15-year-old was given a sponsor's invitation for the 2015 ANA Inspiration on the LPGA Tour but was unable to make the cut by one stroke. Lee played for the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup Women's World Amateur Team Championship and the Junior Ryder Cup. Lee became Stanford's most accomplished golfer ever to play at Stanford University in the year 2016 when she received nine awards over the next three years. Lee, who graduated in 2018, has left Stanford University for the professional world. Her amateur years included 17 consecutive weeks at the top on the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee won her the Mark H. McCormack award in the season of 2019 after becoming the most popular amateur. Lee recorded four holes in succession and also one Albatross in her amateur.
